Tackling the D&AD New Blood Monotype brief by bringing victims of

the 112 law back into the fight

The 112 law, more publicly known as the Lese Majeste Law, prevents the citizens of Thailand from speaking against the monarchy.

In place since the 1970s, Section 112's deliberate vagueness creates a legal trap where any action can be reframed as defamation against the royals. Sanctions can be extreme, with one man receiving a 50-year prison sentence due to social media posts. The law results in complete erasure of citizens fighting for democracy and freedom.
